I started my career working for Quaboag Transfer, Inc. in Palmer, MA. Quaboag is a lumber reload center with lumber coming in by rail and sending lumber out on flatbed trailers as far away as the Carolinas. My duties included taking inventory of lumber bundles, creating bills of lading and dispatching lumber out to local yards and up and down the eastern seaboard.
In 1986 my father approached me to join the family-owned business Bond Construction Corporation located in Spencer, MA. Bond Construction Corp. is a manufacturer/supplier of aggregate materials delivering all over Massachusetts.
I started in the accounting department but wear many hats. After working for years in this role in 2018 I became CFO of the company taking over all the financial responsibilities for the company. I now oversee all HR matters as well as payroll, insurance and anything to do with company issues.
I have been a member of NAWIC for 30 years serving as Chapter President, Chapter Treasurer, Chapter Secretary and currently sitting as Director.
In my spare time I collaborate with Ducks Unlimited. I also enjoy spending time at my homes in York, Maine, Osprey, Florida, traveling and boating.
